Chie Mihara
Feminine, bold, unique and well-made shoes with maximum comfort.
Chie Mihara was born in 1968 to Japanese parents in southern Brazil. She studied fashion in Japan, tried her hand at the sculpture profession in New York. Attended the Fashion Institute of Technology, worked in an orthopedic shoe store and began working with the famous shoe brand Charles Jourdan. That led her to end up in Elda, Spain. In 2001 she took the leap to start her own brand together with her husband.
Chie brings back the value and expertise of artisan shoemakers. They pay special attention to every detail that defines the finished product: the sole, the heel and the shape. Living and manufacturing in Elda is a way to hold on to the knowledge that Made in Spain design is known for. Chie is inspired by 1920s fashion to 1980s humor. Chie's shoes are magical. They evoke your inner femininity and happiness.
